Construction Safety Week 2026: Camosy Participates in OSHA National Safety Stand-Down at Schaumburg Village Hall
On Thursday, May 7, Camosy Construction joined companies across the country in recognizing OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. Team members gathered at our Schaumburg Village Hall project for a safety-focused lunch and discussion reinforcing the importance of fall prevention, jobsite awareness, and maintaining a strong culture of safety.
The annual Safety Stand-Down encourages construction professionals to pause work activities and engage in conversations about hazard recognition, fall protection, and safe work practices. At Camosy, safety is more than a requirement. It is a core value that guides every project, every day.
During the event, field staff, project leadership, trade partners, and team members shared lunch together while reviewing key safety topics relevant to active construction operations at the Schaumburg Village Hall project. Discussions focused on identifying risks before work begins, maintaining proper fall protection systems, and ensuring every worker returns home safely at the end of the day.
Events like the National Safety Stand-Down provide an opportunity to reinforce communication and collaboration among everyone on the jobsite. Safety awareness is strongest when every individual takes ownership and looks out for one another.
Camosy remains committed to maintaining safe, organized, and productive jobsites throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. We appreciate the participation of everyone involved in this year’s Safety Stand-Down and the continued commitment to building safely together.
