Warm Up This Winter — GLCA Winter Crockpot Cook-Off Supporting Student Scholarships
Get ready to warm up this winter with one of the most anticipated community events of the season. The Great Lakes Construction Association (GLCA) is proud to host its annual Winter Crockpot Cook-Off, bringing together great food, friendly competition, and meaningful support for students pursuing careers in the construction industry.
This event offers a relaxed and welcoming way to connect with GLCA members, local professionals, and community supporters while learning more about the positive impact GLCA has throughout the region. Every dish served and every sponsorship secured directly supports the
GLCA Scholarship Fund.
GLCA Winter Crockpot Cook-Off Event Details
The GLCA Winter Crockpot Cook-Off will take place on
Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
at The Brat Stop, located at 12304 75th Street, Kenosha, WI 53142.
Admission is completely free, making it easy for anyone interested to attend, sample the entries, and experience what GLCA is all about. The Brat Stop provides a comfortable setting that encourages networking while enjoying a wide variety of homemade dishes.
Cook-Off Categories and Prizes
Participants will compete for top honors across several popular and creative categories. Categories include Chili, Chowder, Gumbo or Jambalaya, Soup, Other, Mini Taco Sliders or Street Tacos, Dessert, and an exciting new category this year, Homemade Bread.
Whether you are entering a family favorite or trying something new, the cook-off is a fun way to showcase your culinary skills and enjoy friendly competition with fellow attendees.
