Description
Following a competitive Quality Based Selection Process in early 2006, Camosy was selected as the CM at Risk for this project. This project provided a new, three-bay fire station for the Lake Villa Fire Protection District. The structure is masonry bearing with stone and siding veneers, and a wood truss roof system. The building features a three-bay double deep drive-thru apparatus floor, gear room, 1,600 square feet of mezzanine space, a hose tower, and living quarters. The living quarters include a bunk-room, day-room, kitchen, dining area, and men’s and women’s lockers. Site improvements include: landscaping, a water retention pond, and site paving with curbs and gutters.
