Description

Following a competitive Quality Based Selection RFP Process, Camosy was selected in April 2023 as the CM at Risk for the Village of Lake in the Hills New Police Station. This new, 39,574 SF, $23.7 Million, state of the art police station is a much-needed replacement for the Village’s current facility originally built in 1992 as a combination Village Hall and Police Station. Village operations moved into a new Village Hall in 2005 and the Police Department took over the entirety of the original facility’s 17,642 sf. As the Village grew it became clear that the original building was no longer adequate to support the needs of a large and growing police department. In 2019 the village executed a space needs study which confirmed a larger police station was needed to accommodate current operations and projected future community and department growth.
