Project Description
Palatine Village Hall
PROJECT SPECS
Description
The Village of Palatine Village Hall operates out of a building originally constructed as a High School and converted to use as the Village Hall. The facility is shared between the Palatine Park District and the Village with Village operations. The Village of Palatine selected Camosy as their CM for the renovation of the Village Hall portion of the building after Camosy had completed the new Palatine Police Station project in 2012. The project includes the complete demolition of the entire building interior including the HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, leaving only the structural frame. Some older portions were removed completely and a few additions to create new entry points and other spaces are part of the work. The space was completely renovated with new energy efficient mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and the entire exterior of the building is “re-skinned” with new brick, windows, and metal clad panels to give the building a new modern look. A complete reconfiguration of all the Village offices improves efficiencies and creates a more user-friendly space for the public.
